  1. I purchased this book because Norman Vincent Peale mentioned him and his system enthusiastically in one of his excellent books. Peale has mentioned other authors and I have sought them.out and was not disappointed. I ordered the classic deluxe original edition and found it laughable how Maltz right off the bat attacks positive thinking as ineffective and futile. He even attacks the format of Peale's books claiming he will not have numbered key.points at the end of each chapter which Peale does in his books…..Peale always talked about imaging your goal in your mind…..Maltz oversimplifies positive thinking so he can shrug it off and push his system….which to me is a rehash of the same thing…..interesting how Peale.still plugged Maltz because he believed he had merit and wanted to share that with his readers despite the fact that Maltz rips him….very petty of Maltz…..
