Columbus Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Concerts In Winter, 2011
Hence, the old man going nuts and finding our VHS tape or whatever. Nevada’s And She Whispered consider themselves a pop band as much as they are hardcore. That might sound corny now but in the nineties it meant a great deal to the bands back then.
Last night Club Retro hosted one of the best metal/hardcore shows of the year. It was on a Wednesday night yet that didn’t stop over 600 people making it out to see the show. But have no fear, I have you covered with a play by play of the show.
Now the fun part! Crank that song and put it on repeat. Get yourself in the feeling place of the song and groove with it. While you’re dancing around you are to think about this dream person. Imagine what it would be like to be dancing with them, flirting, smiling, winking and basically having a fun, carefree and playful time.
It seemed like it was a little bit of a dig at electronic music but at the same time it is what it is. It’s fun to have an instrument where you just press a button. Knowing what to press and when is kind of a neat job.
Q: I know you played on Jeff’s new Plains Of Oblivion album. You’re going to be playing double-duty with him. Will you be doing that at Tuesday’s show?
Prepare the ambiance. Some like when it’s quiet and calm around, others prefer studying with death metal pouring from their speakers at max volume. You know what’s best for you, don’t ya?
A: We actually had 27 songs originally, and a few of those got cut. But yeah, we finished recording 25 of them, so we were pretty prolific this time around.
Yeah, we do. I’m not sure what it will sound like and I think we’ll both be stretching artistically to put something together. I did do one remix of one of her projects called O+1, but I don’t think it would sound juts like that. Maybe like dub style or drums. I don’t know, but yes we do want to do it. I think it would be fun to travel with me backing her up on whatever junk I got.
Death metal has changed to various different genres sense the beginning. But this will only draw in new crowds and fans of death metal. Try to listen to the different styles and genres to see if any style fits you.
