The name of the band Bloodsoaked, is interesting to say the least and sounds as if there is a story behind it. Where did the name come from and what is the story?

It’s not fair to Type O Negative. They were so much more than we will ever be. What bothers me is that their great memory dies and people forget about them, their mood, and their songs. So, occasionally, we will rip them in our songs, I hope nobody minds.

I still have 30+ issues to scan and am trying to get new content on line. There’s hundreds of old concert photos as well. Now bands are sending CDs to review. So I am doing the best I can just to keep it live and interesting and could not possibly do so without all the support I am getting.

I think we will remain on the web for now. I work fuill time and am raising a five year old and that is where my time goes. The website alone has eaten deep into my pockets.

I have only toured with Atrocious Abnormality so far and we had a blast and the 11 day Slaughtering The South II tour. Bands I wish I could tour with.there are just so many big and small and for different reasons.

Polish death metal Veterans, Vader, has revealed a plethora of new details regarding their new album “Necropolis,” which is scheduled to be released on August 21.

There are two parameters they want to look at closely when choosing your amplifier. The first is the power rating (measured in watts) and the other is the signal-to-noise ratio or percent THD. THD stands for total harmonic distortion, and lower the number the better.

Take a listen to your favorite songs and try to pull from each what element really makes the song. Is it the singer’s voice? The drum beat? The lyrics?

From touring with Pantera and doing Ozzfest as well as traveling around the world, Ms. Bowman has done a lot in the music world and we now have the chance to catch up with her to see what’s going on in 2013.

This is the real test for an eBook device, since this is presumably its primary function. The Sony Reader Daily Edition is pretty good in this regard, though not particularly spectacular. The readability is comparable to previous editions of its Sony Reader line. You can choose whether you want the text on the screen to be displayed from edge to edge or if you’d prefer margins. A great improvement is that beginning with this reader, Sony has completely switched from using its own proprietary book format to the open source ePub format. Even all books that you have previously bought through Sony can now be downloaded in ePub format. Hopefully Amazon soon follows suit with this.

The black border around many projector screens can enhance the quality of the picture. Some Draper Luma screens do not have a black border, but simply have a black metal bar at the bottom of the viewing area. Ideally there would be a black light-absorbing fabric surrounding the viewing area on all edges so be sure to consider this when you go to buy a projection screen.

As you progress in your guitar lessons, it can be fun to explore the varying elements in these styles. Below we’ll go over a few of the most well-known kinds of metal.

Bands like Swallow the Sun, Ihsahn, and Enslaved are heavy as hell – the synth is a great addition. I’m always on the lookout for new heavy bands featuring synth work, though of course I like plenty of metal without synth in it.

The touch pad is big, but it lacks discrete mouse buttons. Instead you’ll just see a line sectioning off the bottom of the pad for left and right clicks. The touch pad is a bit too sensitive to brushes from your palm when typing at the default settings, but it can be adjusted somewhat with its software.
