On October 22, Albuquerque’s Sunshine Theater presents the “For We are Many” Tour. On stage will be All that Remains, Asking Alexandria, Born of Osiris, and And She Whispered. Q: I know you played on Jeff’s new Plains Of Oblivion album. You’re going to be playing double-duty with him. Will you be doing that at Tuesday’s show?

Trivium closed out the Jagermeister stage with another solid performance. I saw them with Slipknot earlier this year and have been a fan ever since. Really enjoyed “When All Light Dies”.

While extreme music might be getting more popular death metal is not. death metal is an underground form of music and always will be. There is a lot of nu-metal that is getting more and more popular but true Death Metal will never get to that point.

There are two parameters they want to look at closely when choosing your amplifier. The first is the power rating (measured in watts) and the other is the signal-to-noise ratio or percent THD. THD stands for total harmonic distortion, and lower the number the better.

His past drug use has hurt his voice a bit, making him stop to get oxygen throughout the set but he used it to his advantage prompting the crowd with, “Don’t do drugs!” and making the handing off of the oxygen part of his production.

Saturday, March 26th: The Machine at Brooklyn Bowl. This premiere Pink Floyd tribute tours endlessly, but there’s no such thing as too much Pink Floyd, right? The Machine returns to concert venue / bowling alley Brooklyn Bowl for their first NYC show of the year, but definitely not their last. Read my review of their last Brooklyn Bowl performance here.

However, when confronted with such an individual, I would raise Absu as a counterexample; sense their sound is rather unique and superior to many Norwegian bands, especially post- 1995 Norwegian black metal bands. I would also highlight how Judas Iscariot’s “Thy Dying Light” is a unique, introspective, beautiful, and haunting work.
