Tom Delonge is back with Angels and Airwaves inviting a compelling sound that doesn’t upset old fans. LOVE has a similar sound to the other albums by Angels and Airwaves, but a listener can see traces of an old favorite side project-Box Car Racer! Early last year, much news has come around the reunion of Blink 182 with a full scale reunion tour. While waiting for the new release of the Blink CD, LOVE should keep fans entertained. Angels and Airwaves newest addition entitled LOVE is the third studio album available at The Angels and Airwaves Official Site for a free download.

The album starts with a powerful instrumental intro entitled “Et Ducit Mundum Per Luce” with amazing percussion to keep the listener on edge with classic Angels and Airwaves effects and sounds. “The Flight of Apollo” starts out similar to the sound of “Valkyrie Missile” on We Don’t Need To Whisper, but when the percussion and guitars come in; it reminds me of Tom Delonge’s first side project Box Car Racer. “Letters to God, Part II” is another track that relates to Box Car Racer from the original version (“Letters to God”), being on the Box Car Racer self-titled CD.

The story goes that the city was ruled by a nasty, selfish prince, who ruled over equally nasty, selfish subjects. The only survivor of the mass drowning was a gentle harpist, who was saved by the song of a bird who warned him just in time to make his escape.
Bala, in Welsh, means the outflow of a lake, so it won’t come as much of a surprise that the first four of our ten interesting facts about Bala relate in some way to Llyn Tegid (or Bala Lake, to use its English name).
