Naughty By Nature Tickets : The Trio Able To Balance Success On The Pop With Hardcore Rap

In my experience of over 20 years with making beats i have used both pieces – hardware and software. The Spring Massive at the Paradox is gonna be insane as will Starscape 2009. You can get software for a third of the price you spend on hardware.

Recently, the genre has started becoming more popular with youth around the world thanks to the internet revolution. Drum and bass is synonymous to jungle, a type of electronic dance music which can be identified by its fast tempo and broken beat drums. The bass is also very heavy. Though today it is still underground, it is slowly surfacing and making its way into youth culture, especially in the UK, where it originated.

It’s one thing when a seasoned band like Dinosaur Jr. comes to the neighborhood for a one-of-a-kind show. It’s another thing when that seasoned band comes with a Q&A featuring a one-of-a-kind entertainer like Henry Rollins. Performing their re-issued album Bug in its entirety, the indie/alternative rock band will headline Variety Playhouse with OFF! – featuring Keith Morris of Black Flag – opening the show, as well as the Q&A hosted by actor/comedian/singer Henry Rollins of Black Flag.

In the midst of it all, it had also become a fashion show. Not so bad, right? We saw it as a good thing. Ravers were making the clothes, so buying them was supporting “us.” The idea that the scene could support itself soon came to the forefront, quickly enticing fashion designers and promoters to invest even more. Was the scene becoming “respectable?” Was it becoming a self-supporting movement- or big business?

This. Right here. is hip hop. While, it’s not necessarily “freestyle,” these MCs from Kanye’s brainchild G.O.O.D. Music label display a level of rhyming that gives homage to the golden era of hip hop, yet captures the promise of what rap has to offer. From the black suites (Rosewood Movement) to DJ Premier providing the breakbeat in the background.this is a classic session.

So I went out and bought a Gemini “DJ in a Box” set-up. I think it came with two Gemini XL 500 tables and a little Scratch mixer. I think it even came with a “low profile” baseball cap, which to this day cracks me up. Needless to say it was a terrible set-up, which is actually perfect to learn on. Locked myself in a room for around six months and started putting out mixes and never really stopped since — which also cracks me up.

December 31, 1999. New Year’s Eve party at New Energy in York, Pennsylvania. Definitely makes it easy to remember with it being on such a monumental New Year’s Eve.

The Spring Massive at the Paradox is gonna be insane as will Starscape 2009. I am also headlining this huge three-day festival alongside DJ Swamp and like 50 others called Willy Wonka and the Bass Factory on June 19-21 in West Virginia, which I am sure will be an experience!
