Planning A Successful Rosh Hashanah 2012

In Judaism, there are quite a lot of religious items which are considered to be of great importance. Rosh Hashanah is also a time that Jews celebrate G-d’s creation of the world and embark on personal paths of repentance.
The Bible says, “The day of the LORD comes as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes.” 1 Thess 5:2,3. Christ affirmed, “If the goodman .had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” Matthew 24:43. Saturday is the most popular day of the week for weddings. However, it is always a good idea to consider religious observances. For devout Jews and Christians, weekend ceremonies may not be an option. The good news is that weekday wedding are much cheaper for everyone. Not only are reception halls more affordable during the week, but hotel rates are also cheaper. Of course, we are only talking about small savings here. By the time we threw an entire loaf my parents and sisters were all crying in each other’s arms. We walked back in silence. In my thoughts were imagining a ram’s horn and ultimate repentance to G-d for obeying. Though I don’t wonder when my ram will show up in a thicket, I am thankful for all of the times that a ram has helped me go on with my life in peace.
