And so far, the last 10, 11 years have been fantastic. I have seen it too many times that often very important information is simply missing from the invoice. Most of the time, the reasons for tax debts are erroneous entry in the tax returns.

Branding is not a familiar concept to agents from the East or from the West. Another way to consider branding is the agent’s personal style or reputation. One other reason to consider branding is that the agent is indeed the primary representative of the company. Your personal brand is the image that comes into the customer’s mind when they think about you. Let’s spend a few moments considering why people or organizations would brand themselves.

Although there are many aspects of the business that can be tracked, it is not necessary to go for every detail of the entire operations. This will just overwhelm you and give you more things to think about instead of doing the bigger and more important things. Choose one to three important aspects of the business to track and conceptualize a plan on how to improve them. Assign an employee to execute the plan and ask for a progress report every week or every month.

There is no doubt that we humans are suffering from information overload at work and in our social lives. We’re suffering from over-choice and struggling to make sense of all the data pumped at us all day, every day. I know from hard experience that you’ll find the following eight suggestions brilliant!

You see, cruise ships are like small cities – they have jobs ranging from store clerks to janitors, cooks to waiters and waitresses, doctors, accountants, and of course the deck crew and engine crew. But there are many, many more jobs than this; the list is long, but if you can think of the types of jobs you would find in a small town, you’ll probably find it on a cruise ship.

Unsuccessful agents rely too heavily on their words to make the sale happen. Successful agents understand it is a combination of words and behaviours. If you as the agent are talking more than 50% of the time in the interview, then it is likely the customer will not trust you and your brand will be a negative one.

So like to offer that opportunity, to them. And obviously, when I do that, I’m introducing them to the new music that I’m creating. So it’s a nice environment, and I think it’s well worth doing, and I enjoy doing it.

As an agent you cannot worry about the things you cannot control, such as the behaviours of the other agents. You can only control your behaviours. There is a quote I love and try to honour and it is “Let deeds, not words be your adorning!” Too many agents talk too much and listen too little. To be able to succeed in your efforts to establish your brand, reputation and image, pay more attention to your behaviours and less attention to your words. If you do this, you will become known for your brand and be recognized as a different kind of agent who can be trusted. If they trust you, you can develop a relationship and then everything is possible, like making a sale and referring you to others. Branding is critical to your future. I wish you continued success!
