If they like it is a good chance they will buy the CD and tell other about it, it can help with work of mouth. What is it that normally gives you inspiration when writing lyrics and is there a concept behind the music you create?
Interesting the old school underground has been rising lately. I thought it was just wishful thinking on my part, but starting with that article on hipster metal, people have been abandoning the post-1996 metal in droves and returning to the old school.
A: I think it was designed by Jeremy and/or his brother Dave Pelligrin. But Rob and Josh may also have been involved. Now that I think of it I know Josh did the illustrations.
When you meet a guy at a concert, you already know you have something in common. Taste in music. You have a shared interest and can use that as a topic of conversation to get to know each other better. You can talk about what other bands or singers you like, who else you’ve seen perform, and why you decided to go to this show. You can dance together or sing really badly. This type of venue also give you the chance to see which guys are willing to have fun and how they let their hair down. Plus, there’s always the opportunity to “accidentally” bump into someone and blame it on the crowd. You can use this chance to introduce yourself.
TS: We haven’t toured with them before, but we met the creator (Brendon Small) a while back. He seems like a really cool guy and the type of guy we can get along with well. It’s kinda funny to think that one of the biggest death metal bands right now is a cartoon band (laughs). But it’s a light hearted good time, and the fans are sitting ducks for our crazy madness.
The special effects are awesome! The robots are amazing and it is thrilling to watch them battle each other. The fact that they are operated through a remote control that resembles a video game controller. It’s like watching them play a video game but for real. The robots are huge and very life like. This is definitely a heart warming story as well. It reminds you of the “Rocky” movies with the same fighting against all odds theme. You will find your self cheering. It deserves 5 out of 5 popcorn bags.
The Queens of Thrash Metal, Suspended have certainly given New Mexico a nosebleed. The trio comprised of bassist/vocalist Melynda Montano, guitarist Amanda Castillo, and drummer Channing Concho have been executing their aggressive thrash attack since 2003, while they were still in high school. The band’s debut album is titled Prelude to Indignance.
The Of Gods and Destroyers demo is deathcore done right. If you’re at an Of Gods and Destroyers show (and you should be,) do yourself a favor and see if you can pick up a copy. And if you are in a deathcore band currently, get this demo and start taking notes.
