G: Unfortunately, in many situations they are right. However, when confronted with such an individual, I would raise Absu as a counterexample; sense their sound is rather unique and superior to many Norwegian bands, especially post- 1995 Norwegian black metal bands. I would also highlight how Judas Iscariot’s “Thy Dying Light” is a unique, introspective, beautiful, and haunting work.
