Wrought Iron - The Power And Glory Of The Black Art

Wrought Iron – The Power And Glory Of The Black Art

Fortunately, this metal won’t be affected if that happens and will still be in great condition for years to come. With all its shiny silver chrome pegs and black metal pole it provides any room an elegant look and feel.
For our exclusive interview this month we were lucky enough to sit down with former Kittie guitarist, founder of Amphibious Assault and all around Renaissance woman Fallon Bowman. From touring with Pantera and doing Ozzfest as well as traveling around the world, Ms. Bowman has done a lot in the music world and we now have the chance to catch up with her to see what’s going on in 2013.

Fallon Bowman: There was something about an overflowing, poopy toilet, Professor Phil Anselmo, PhD in black metal, and wild turkey. You can fill in the blanks any way your wish there. Is that PG enough?

The Ponce Deleon Lighthouse is an active lighthouse. It was built in 1887. It is the only Florida Lighthouse listed as a National Historic Landmark and it is the second tallest brick tower in the U.S.

Thrash – The key element of thrash metal is SPEED! Thrash music is known for being incredibly fast paced, and therefore might not be the best choice for beginner musicians. Look for bands like Metallica, Megadeth and Testament for great thrash songs.

The guys tell me that it sounds pretty lame without the synth when I miss practice for example! While the parts are not extremely technical or in the forefront as much as they were in Somnus, they serve to achieve a pervasive undercurrent/ atmosphere. Honestly, the guitars are written first, so it is just through careful time spent on arranging that we can pull this off.

Fallon Bowman: I would say that you should be realistic with your goals and think outside of the box. With the omnipotence of the internet and advances in technology, everyone is a musician, so think about how you can differentiate yourself from the other musicians out there. However, don’t lose sight of why you got into it in the first place, which is the love of music. If you lose that, I believe you won’t last in the industry. It is a tough and cutthroat industry and has changed immensely since my entering into it, but I know that perseverance and not taking yourself too seriously really helps to weather the storms you will or may encounter. Be ready to roll with the punches and keep up the enthusiasm.

I suppose a more mechanically minded person would say that what I am doing is really accessorizing my car. Well, so maybe I am, but you know what? When I am done, I will be able to say that I have the best-dressed Volvo around. And who knows, when I am done, I may just decide to take out the engine and replace it with a Hemi. you know, I think I will do that anyways. Can you imagine a car that shines like a peacock, crows like a rooster, and drives like the General Lee? Quite a transformation for a car that started out as a $900 Volvo. I cannot wait to get this car on the road.
